I have always loved painting however it wasn’t until I discovered oils following a course at The Heatherley Art School that I was really inspired to develop my work further.

Brought up in Devon I have always had a love of the English countryside. Moving to the South Downs has given me a chance to explore a new landscape. I paint en plein air and in the studio.  I paint intuitively to capture the quality of the light and my emotional response to the land.

I have taken part in Hurstpierpoint Open Studios for the last 5 years and will be participating in Brighton Open Houses for the first time this year.
